    Once again, by using government figures, you are comparing apples and oranges because the methodology for the calculation of the CPI was significantly changed for self-serving reasons (i.e., the reduction of government entitlement program COLA costs) by The Boskin Commission in 1995 as revealed in the excellent book “Greenspan’s Bubbles.”
